VISITING PROTOCOL
Visitor Code and respect for others
When suitable, friends and family are welcome to stop by to show their support, bring good wishes, and assist in the care of a loved one. There are times when patients need quiet rest so we ask you to respect the Visitor Code of Behaviour and posted visiting hours (1 hour) for each area of patient care as specified and permitted by the doctors.
Visit Well
Infection control is everyone’s responsibility. Please do not
visit your relatives or friends in the Hospital, if you are not feeling well
or have recently been exposed to an infectious disease.
We greatly appreciate and thank you for respecting the privacy of all of our patients in the hospital.
Who Should Accompany You
Any of your senior family members or spouse should accompany you during the admission which is equally important for your treatment consent formality. In specific clinical conditions the physician may recommend the need for an attendant to be with the patient for a specified duration. Please make these arrangements before you arrive.
Main Entrance
Once you arrive on the hospital’s campus, signs will direct you to the main entrance. Our security supervisor will conduct a thorough vehicle, baggage and personal check to ensure you are devoid of any possession of any kind of food stuff / snacks / tobacco of any form / alcohol / other kind of stimulants. If any of the above materials were found in your possession then the substance would be confiscated and retained at the main security gate itself. Staff members are located at the information desk just inside the entrance to provide you with an identification badge and assist you in getting to your destination.
What to Expect
Consent Forms and Policies: All patients are given forms and policies to review and sign on the day of admission. Some patients may receive this paperwork ahead of time from their physician. Please expect to review and sign a consent form and to receive the hospital’s notice of privacy practices and regulations and patient’s responsibilities.
